We are located in Central Saanich, BC, and coaching for stock work (sheepherding) is available all year round.

How to Get Started

  • Call and arrange a time for instinct testing, dogs should be 10 months or older. From the outcome of this first time introduction to sheep we will be able to see if your dog is
    • interested and keen to work stock and
    • mature enough to start
If we feel your dog can start his foundation work we can offer the following
  • Private instruction
  • Semi private instruction
  • Group instruction
All of the above would require a commitment to 2 times per week which will run for 6 weeks. When we reach a level that you can work your dog on your own with good control and that you understand the rules of the farm and safety for the sheep, you will be offered additional sheep (practice) time.
